Dear friends, I'm worrying that violence has become a normal part of modern society. Every day we hear news of murders and terrorism. Sometimes criminals single out innocent hostages and shoot them in cold blood. Even children commit these kinds of horrible crimes. We live in a very aggressive world, but don't you think we find it so shocking because most of us live peace, law abiding lives? In the past people were surrounded by aggression and war, but these days most of us just watch it on TV. The situation may have got better before it got worse. When I was a child, I could walk the street around my house at night and the TV and movie stars who were role models for young people were not so outwardly aggressive and there was less vandalism of public property. Do you think there the media responsible for a lot of increase in violence in society... How do you think terrorism and war can be reduced? Best regards LR
